tagged?!?

Hola! Have been here less than a month, and have already been "tagged". I was so confused when I first saw that miss applehead had tagged me, but caught on quickly enough. So here it goes...

The rules:
• Start with 7 random facts/habits about yourself
• People who are tagged have to write their 7 things on their blog
• Then choose another 7 people to get tagged and list their names
Here goes nothing....

1.I get ANGRY when the humidity rises above 65%.   I am not sure what it is about humidity and me, but ever since I was a small girl, me and humidity have not mixed well. Which sucks, cause I love open windows and fresh air. But most of my summers are spent behind closed doors with the AC on, simply because I would become a monster if I got too sticky. This is something I am trying hard to change about myself, but I am sure after 29 years, it may be hard. My parents used to have to soak me in ice baths when I was little to calm me down in the summer because I was too worked up trying to fight off the humidity.

2. I have to drink ALL of my cold drinks in a glass with ICE.
I wont drink it if it is out of a bottle or does not have ice in the glass...4 cubes are best:)

3.I am an insomniac. Unlike my husband , who has Narcolepsey, I can not fall asleep well at all.

4. I can hold my breath under water for more than 8 minutes, I believe the longest I have held it was 3-4 years ago at 8 minutes and 43 seconds. I am not sure if that is exciting or not, but I think it is pretty cool.

5. I have been writing children's books for 10 years, just have never shown them to ANYONE, except for my husband and children. I love to write for children, I dream of publishing one day, just as soon as I get over my little failure complex:)

6.this one kinda goes with #5. I have a real issue with sucess in my life. I get right to the edge of almost suceeding at something and then I drop the ball. I am not sure why. My parents say I have always been this way....will just almost finish anything, but then stop right before I come to the line of sucess. perhaps why I can't show my stories to anyone. Something I desperately need to work on within myself.

7.I am secretly the laziest person in the world. If I could get away with it, I would sit on my butt all day and do NOTHING. I would sleep, read or just sit for hours thinking IF I could:)

been a while...

So, it has been a long while since I visited these pages. The end of the school year for me is always a busy and eventful time of the year. With 3 children in school, and one at home, my days always seem to be full of something or other. My husband and I are constantly ships crossing in the night due to his work schedule, and I recently have started cleaning houses in the mornings 2 days a week for supplimental income. It really is a fun job for someone like me. I love clean things, and I am a bit on the OCD side of life. Summer will be here soon, and for now the rain storms have died down...it was ridiculous how much rain we had been getting. My yard was a constant lake for weeks, good for puddle jumping children, bad for Mama's that have to clean the mud off their babes:)  Need to desperately update my photo album on here, have been taking the daily phot's, have not been posting....hmmmmm too little time in the days I suppose. The bag making is going very well, and we are curently trying to get into some local shops in and around town on consignment. I think it will go well, the shops we have been talking with seem thrilled at the prospect of having new merchandise in their stores. Have also been sucked into the wide world of swaping. Found swap-bot online, and it has been an adventure to say the least. So many talented and generous folks around the world. It has also been quite fun to do something with my hands each day for nothing other than to share myself with someone, not for bill paying or an assignment of sorts, but just to create and have fun making others happy for even just a moment while they open their mail. Things in my world have been going very well, I am at peace, my creations are coming along nicely, and the prospect of summer days in the sun and water with my family  sounds like heaven to me every day that it gets closer. Will try to post more often, as there IS a reason that I opened this account....to release, so that is what I shall continue to try to do. Take care!
